Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the Senior Leadership Team and staff to achieve the school’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision for the school’s future growth and development.
  • Foster a cohesive and supportive school community that values academic excellence and pastoral care.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of school operations, including curriculum, staff development, and student welfare.
  • Work collaboratively with the Governing Board to ensure alignment with the school’s long-term goals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development for all staff.
  • Ensure the school maintains its high standards of education and care for students of all backgrounds and beliefs.
  • Represent the school externally and build strong relationships with parents, the local community, and other educational institutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in senior leadership within education.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience in leading a successful and growing school environment.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience in a coeducational setting with a diverse student population.
  • Familiarity with independent school governance and operations.
  • Experience in promoting and developing pastoral care and student welfare.
  • Background in fostering intercultural understanding and community engagement.
