Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student achievement
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices
  • Support students in developing key skills and knowledge relevant to Health and Social Care
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and learning
  • Participate in planning, preparation, and assessment activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in teaching Health and Social Care at a relevant level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong record of academic success
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technology
  • Experience in developing and delivering vocational courses
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
