Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons that engage and challenge students
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student achievement
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices
- Support students in developing key skills and knowledge relevant to Health and Social Care
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and learning
- Participate in planning, preparation, and assessment activities
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience in teaching Health and Social Care at a relevant level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a strong record of academic success
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technology
- Experience in developing and delivering vocational courses
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
