The Opportunity:
As a Helpdesk Manager, you will lead the IT Support Desk across multiple sites and provide first line IT support to ensure seamless operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, educational setting and is passionate about delivering outstanding IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the IT Support Desk across multiple locations.
- Provide first line IT support to ensure minimal disruption to school operations.
- Coordinate with IT teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Develop and implement IT support processes and procedures.
- Monitor and report on IT service performance and user satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs.
- Support the integration of technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience managing an IT Support Desk in an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working across multiple sites or organisations.
- Commitment to delivering excellent IT support in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to undergo child protection screening and Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
Preferred
- Experience with IT service management tools.
- Knowledge of educational technology and its application in teaching and learning.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience with managing a team of IT support staff.
