Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned lesson plans that promote critical thinking and a love for literature.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and student engagement.
  • Implement technology-enhanced teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in high school Language and Literature/AP courses.
  • Familiarity with Common Core curriculum standards for English Language Arts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching AP courses.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom.
  • Background in promoting mindfulness and emotional well-being in education.
  • Experience with collaborative teaching and curriculum development.
