Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver effective physical education and health curricula aligned with established standards
  • Create engaging and interactive lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and student engagement
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement
  • Collaborate with department and grade-level teams to enhance teaching and learning experiences
  • Serve as an advisor, contributing to student development through mentorship and guidance
  • Participate in after-school activities, clubs, and experiential education trips
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and school counselors to support student success
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Relevant teaching certifications in physical education and health
  • Minimum of two years of successful secondary experience working as a full-time teacher in an accredited school setting
  • Relevant experience in classroom instruction and assessment
  • Ability to obtain a work visa in Korea (successful completion of a drug screening process per Korean law)

Preferred

  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Two years of overseas teaching experience
  • Training and experience in working with second language learners
  • Experience facilitating advisory sessions, grade-level teams, as well as participating in after-school activities and clubs
  • Actively contributes to the school community beyond the classroom
