Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in curriculum delivery and resource management.
  • Assist with planning, monitoring, and assessing student progress.
  • Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff.

  • Support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum delivery and classroom management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student welfare.
  • Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting within a multi-academy trust.
  • Familiarity with teaching and learning strategies that promote independent learning.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
