Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History, Geography, and Contemporary Global Studies to secondary students in English.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the school’s bilingual curriculum and academic standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Support students in preparing for iGCSE and OIB examinations.
  • Stay current with educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native or equivalent level of English.
  • A Geography or History teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching A-Level, OIB/BFI, AP, or upper high school level subjects.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiastic, respectful, and dynamic teaching style.

Preferred

  • Experience in a bilingual or international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the French education system and curriculum.
  • Experience with Contemporary Global Studies or related subjects.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
