The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational History and Geography Teacher to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in History and Geography across all Key Stages.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to raise student attainment.
  • Foster a culture of high expectations and achievement within the department and school.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and support student learning.
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students as needed.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in History or Geography.
  • Experience teaching across Key Stages.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching tools and resources.
  • Experience in safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Background in co-educational settings or Sixth Form teaching.
