The Opportunity:
As a History Teacher in the Easter Revision Programme, you will support students in consolidating their learning and preparing for GCSE exams. This role is ideal for passionate educators who want to make a meaningful impact during a crucial time in students’ academic journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of GCSE students
- Help students develop exam techniques and build confidence in their subject
- Create a motivating and positive classroom environment that encourages learning
- Collaborate with other teachers and academic staff to enhance student outcomes
- Provide targeted support to students based on their individual learning needs
- Ensure effective use of resources and teaching materials aligned with UK exam board requirements
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals
- Contribute to the overall success of the Easter Revision Programme through teamwork and dedication
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant academic degree or teaching qualification
- Proven experience in teaching History at GCSE level
- Strong knowledge of UK exam boards and their requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Previous teaching experience (essential)
Preferred
- Experience in delivering revision courses or intensive exam preparation
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and resources
- Experience working with international students
- Strong organisational and time management skills
