The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE exam specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree or similar qualifications in History or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching History to KS3-KS4 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and GCSE History exam specifications.
  • Ability to adapt traditional teaching methods to modern, technology-enhanced learning approaches.

Preferred

  • Experience with video conferencing and online teaching platforms.
  • Familiarity with self-directed learning frameworks.
  • Experience in a global or international school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
