The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and growth. This role offers the chance to teach within a progressive curriculum and contribute to a vibrant, multicultural educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality History lessons that engage students and promote critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum of England and international standards.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student achievement and personal development.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing teacher training programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments.
  • Support students in extracurricular activities and school events related to History and other subjects.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.
  • Relevant degree in History or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching History at the secondary level.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and student-centered learning.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula such as IGCSE, A Level, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in a multicultural educational setting.
  • Passion for History and a commitment to inspiring students.
