Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the history curriculum at both GCSE and A level.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
- Support the school’s wider activities and events, enhancing the student experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and guardians.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in history education.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Experience in teaching to GCSE and A level standards.
Preferred
- Ability to teach A level law as an additional subject.
- Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
