The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and flexible Hort Assistant and Receptionist to support the smooth operation of our Reception and Hort services. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, international setting, providing care and support to students while ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with student check-outs from Monday to Friday between 15:00–18:00 (max. 15 hours per week).
  • Communicate professionally and warmly with students and parents during the pick-up process.
  • Collaborate closely with the reception team and educational staff to ensure efficient and safe student care.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized environment in the reception and hort areas.
  • Support the daily operations of the hort program with attention to detail and care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures at all times.
  • Provide assistance with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall student experience through positive and proactive engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in reception or child care preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Work permit for freelance work in Germany.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an international school setting.
  • Experience with student check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Knowledge of international education standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
