The Opportunity:
As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality hospitality services to pupils, staff, and visitors. This is a term-time only position with a focus on providing a friendly and efficient service across school events and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the Hospitality team during term-time and school events.
- Ensure the highest standards of service and food safety in all hospitality areas.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of meals and refreshments for pupils and staff.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of school events and functions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in all hospitality areas.
- Train and support team members to ensure consistent service quality.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of 1 year active experience as a Hospitality Supervisor.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management.
- Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a “can do” attitude.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Previous experience with event management or catering for large groups.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a hospitality role.
- Knowledge of catering software or management systems.
