The Opportunity:

As a Hospitality Team Member, you will deliver a warm, friendly, and efficient service across the school site, ensuring a high standard of hospitality for all visitors. This role requires a full driving license and involves some heavy lifting, with duties spanning both the Senior and Prep schools, as well as enterprise activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors across the school site
  • Operate the department’s van to support hospitality needs on both campuses
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all hospitality areas
  • Support event management and catering requirements for school functions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform light to moderate physical tasks, including lifting and moving supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all hospitality-related activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Flexibility to work during term time and across both school sites

Preferred

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Familiarity with event planning and coordination
