The Opportunity:
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of a school’s facilities. This position ensures that all areas of the school are kept to the highest standards, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of communal areas, bathrooms, and other designated spaces throughout the school.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping of floors, corridors, and rooms.
- Work independently and as part of a team of housekeepers to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness.
- Store cleaning materials safely and report any health and safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Ensure all areas are consistently tidy and presentable on a daily basis.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Polite, professional, and friendly attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Discreet and able to maintain professional standards.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role.
- Experience working in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.50.
