Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the school
- Carry out regular cleaning tasks in classrooms, common areas, and staff rooms
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and replenished
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the school and support other members of the Housekeeping team
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and report any issues promptly
- Uphold the school’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work
- Participate in training and development opportunities provided by the school
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work
- Ability to work flexibly and independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Experience with using cleaning equipment and products
- Flexibility to work outside normal office hours if required
