Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all areas of the school.
- Ensure all common areas, classrooms, and facilities are kept in excellent condition.
- Carry out regular cleaning, dusting, and sanitizing tasks according to established protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Housekeeping Team to meet daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Handle general maintenance and reporting of any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for all.
- Support special events and activities by preparing and maintaining spaces as required.
- Ensure compliance with the school’s policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a public environment.
- Experience with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Previous experience in a residential or boarding environment.
