The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment across the school. This role is essential in supporting the wellbeing and comfort of students and staff. The position requires a flexible approach and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school premises
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete all required paperwork
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Respond promptly to requests for assistance
- Work collaboratively with the support team to uphold operational standards
- Assist in creating a welcoming and tidy environment for students and staff
- Adhere to all statutory and internal guidelines
- Keep areas clean and orderly at all times
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in daily cleaning schedules
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or care setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with safeguarding procedures
- Willingness to undergo DBS and reference checks
