Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional needs are met.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the house, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other housemasters to enhance the overall student experience.
- Oversee house activities, including social events, sports, and co-curricular programs.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and the school administration.
- Supervise student behavior and ensure adherence to the school’s values and policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of house-related initiatives and programs.
- Support students in their personal and academic growth through mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a similar role within a boarding school or educational setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to Catholic values and the Jesuit tradition.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or curriculum development.
- Familiarity with the Irish education system.
- Experience in managing both single and family accommodations.
