The Opportunity:
As a Houseparent (Girls Boarding), you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding international students aged 12 to 19. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while contributing to a dynamic and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a visible role model for the school’s values in all aspects of the boarding house
- Provide pastoral guidance and support to boarders during duty times
- Create a safe, well-ordered, warm, and friendly living environment
- Support students in their academic and co-curricular pursuits
- Ensure all student behavior aligns with school and house rules
- Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders
- Organise and actively participate in boarding activities during evenings and weekends
- Uphold safeguarding practices at all times
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with young people in a residential setting
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong social competence, empathy, and communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
Preferred
- EU/EFTA citizenship
- English language skills at B2 level or higher
- Additional language skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of CHF 61,100 to 95,940 per year
