The Opportunity:

We are seeking an HR Administrator to support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience for all staff. This role is central to maintaining the school’s high standards in human resources and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support staff with general HR queries using the internal ticketing system
  • Process changes to job titles, including approvals, letters, and system updates
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns from position identification through to appointment
  • Manage the recruitment inbox, candidate communications, and application records
  • Prepare and maintain interview documentation, panel folders, and candidate communications
  • Manage end-to-end offer and onboarding process, from verbal offer to start date
  • Verify qualifications, right to work, ID, safeguarding, and other compliance documentation
  • Set up and manage mandatory training across online platforms and support in-person training

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A graduate degree or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Proven experience in HR administration, ideally within education or independent school settings
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Commitment to safeguarding and compliance

Preferred

  • Experience with managing payroll processes
  • Experience with training management systems
  • Experience with candidate onboarding and compliance checks
