The Opportunity:
As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the operational HR function across multiple schools. This position requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can manage a wide range of HR responsibilities and contribute to the success of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain staff personnel data accurately and securely.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff members.
- Assist with payroll administration and attendance management.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations and policy compliance.
- Collaborate with Central HR resources to ensure best practices are followed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff across the school.
- Ensure all HR activities are carried out in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in a similar HR Assistant role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred
- Experience in educational settings or schools.
- Knowledge of HR systems and software.
- Experience with payroll and attendance management systems.
- Understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
