As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of a growing HR function within a school that values professional standards, confidentiality, and outstanding service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain HR records and documentation in line with legislation and school policies.
  • Support the implementation of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Coordinate and organize internal training and development programs for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with HR legislation and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with the management of employee queries and concerns.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and data analysis to support HR decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of HR practices across the school.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and discretion in all HR-related interactions.

Required

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Confident user of IT systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Willingness to undertake training and development in HR legislation and processes.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in HR or a related field.
  • Experience with employee relations or payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems.
  • Experience working in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
