The Opportunity:

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources team across all stages of the employment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Human Resources team in managing the full employment lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding and beyond.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR standards.
  • Assist in the processing of applications, including reviewing and sorting candidate information.
  • Provide administrative support during interviews, induction processes, and staff development activities.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless HR operations.
  • Maintain a high standard of attention to detail and computer literacy in all tasks.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and GDPR compliance.
  • High level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Experience in an administrative or HR support role.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and employment law.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
