The Opportunity:
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting a pioneering educational institution in Abu Dhabi. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a unique pilot school, while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and fostering a strong, supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations, including HAAD and immigration requirements.
- Coordinate with government bodies and maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the school’s mission and values.
- Support the school’s strategic goals by providing HR insights and recommendations.
- Manage employee performance, training, and development programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records using IT systems and HRM ERP platforms.
- Provide timely and effective communication with staff and management on HR-related matters.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, with a preference for HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles.
- Sound working knowledge of UAE Law.
- Competent in using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience liaising with government bodies in the UAE.
Preferred
- Recognized Human Resources accreditation (SHRM, CIPD).
- 3 years of experience in HR Generalist roles within the education industry.
- Fluency in Arabic.
- Intermediate proficiency in HRM ERP platforms.
- Experience with government compliance matters and forward planning.
