The Opportunity:

As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting a pioneering educational institution in Abu Dhabi. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a unique pilot school, while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and fostering a strong, supportive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations, including HAAD and immigration requirements.
  • Coordinate with government bodies and maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the school’s mission and values.
  • Support the school’s strategic goals by providing HR insights and recommendations.
  • Manage employee performance, training, and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records using IT systems and HRM ERP platforms.
  • Provide timely and effective communication with staff and management on HR-related matters.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, with a preference for HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles.
  • Sound working knowledge of UAE Law.
  • Competent in using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience liaising with government bodies in the UAE.

Preferred

  • Recognized Human Resources accreditation (SHRM, CIPD).
  • 3 years of experience in HR Generalist roles within the education industry.
  • Fluency in Arabic.
  • Intermediate proficiency in HRM ERP platforms.
  • Experience with government compliance matters and forward planning.
