The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and high standards.
  • Support all pupils in making excellent academic progress through effective differentiation and assessment.
  • Maintain strong classroom behaviour and uphold school policies consistently.
  • Use data to inform planning, target setting, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to the academic development of students.
  • Model and promote the school’s values and ethos across all aspects of school life.
  • Provide exceptional pastoral care and support to students in a warm, inclusive environment.
  • Participate actively in co-curricular activities, House system events, and wider school initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree / PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
  • Proven ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management and pastoral care skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with EAL learners.
  • Understanding of UK independent and international school expectations.
