Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Humanities to secondary students following the England & Wales National Curriculum.
- Deliver engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and a love of learning.
- Support students in preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, supporting their overall development.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and community initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic and personal development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or British curriculum school.
- Ability to teach GCSE and A Level Humanities.
- Strong subject knowledge in Humanities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (assessed as part of the application process).
Preferred
- Experience teaching an additional subject such as English or Mathematics.
- International teaching experience.
- Experience with the England & Wales National Curriculum.
- Real-world experience in relevant subject areas.
- Experience in pastoral care and student support.
