The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Humanities to secondary students following the England & Wales National Curriculum.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and a love of learning.
  • Support students in preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care of students, supporting their overall development.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and community initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or British curriculum school.
  • Ability to teach GCSE and A Level Humanities.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Humanities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (assessed as part of the application process).

Preferred

  • Experience teaching an additional subject such as English or Mathematics.
  • International teaching experience.
  • Experience with the England & Wales National Curriculum.
  • Real-world experience in relevant subject areas.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student support.
