Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Humanities lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and lifelong learning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission and values.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.

  • Stay up to date with educational trends and best practices in Humanities teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and full teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching Humanities at a similar level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a similar ethos and values.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment systems.
  • Experience with cross-curricular and interdisciplinary teaching.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Passion for education and a genuine interest in student development.
