Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative learning experiences in Humanities, including History at IGCSE level.
- Plan and implement a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Foster a well-organised and inspiring learning environment that promotes high expectations and student motivation.
- Integrate technology effectively into all teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes.
- Support the pastoral care and well-being of students, ensuring a holistic approach to education.
- Contribute to the development of a rich and varied extra-curricular programme.
- Uphold and apply school policies consistently to maintain a positive and inclusive learning culture.
- Embrace the multicultural environment and engage fully with the local community and school life.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree in Education or a PGCE qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
- Ability to teach Humanities, including History at IGCSE level.
- Experience in creating well-planned, engaging, and creative lessons.
- Commitment to student well-being and pastoral care.
Preferred
- Experience with international curricula such as Cambridge IGCSE.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
- Willingness to immerse in a multicultural environment and contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
