The Opportunity:

As an IB Biology Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the science education of students across the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme. This is a unique opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists and contribute to a growing, innovative school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inquiry-based science lessons across the IB MYP and DP Biology curriculum.
  • Guide students in developing critical thinking, research, and practical laboratory skills.
  • Support interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development initiatives.
  • Inspire students through collaborative learning and real-world problem-solving.
  • Participate in professional development and IB training programs.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in Biology or a related discipline.
  • Experience or qualification to teach IB MYP and DP Biology.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory practice and safety.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to work in a diverse, international setting.
  • Commitment to inquiry-based, student-centered learning.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (MSc, MEd, PhD) in Biology or related field.
  • Experience teaching IB Chemistry in the DP.
  • Background in curriculum development or interdisciplinary projects.
