The Opportunity:
As an IB Diploma and Business Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping students' understanding of business, economics, and enterprise through real-world experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote critical thinking and real-world application.
- Support students in developing business and economic concepts through project-based and inquiry-based learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and innovative learning environment.
- Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Provide individualized support to ensure each student's academic and personal growth.
- Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assess and evaluate student progress using a variety of formative and summative methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Fully qualified teacher with at least two years of full-time classroom experience.
- Experience teaching IB Diploma, A Level, or AP Business and/or Economics.
- Strong knowledge of business, economics, and enterprise concepts.
- Ability to integrate instructional technology and promote higher-level thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and support a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or bilingual education.
- Familiarity with project-based learning and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Experience in a multicultural or international educational setting.
- Leadership experience or involvement in curriculum development.
