The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IB English Language B at MYP and DP levels with a high degree of proficiency.
  • Support students in CAS, Extended Essay, and TOK where applicable.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programs, including sport and supervision duties.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a student-centered, IB-focused curriculum.
  • Engage in the development and implementation of the school’s unique pedagogical framework.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain high academic standards and ensure students are prepared for university and beyond.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience teaching IB English Language B at MYP and DP levels.
  • Strong command of English and the ability to teach students whose first language is not English.
  • Commitment to the IB philosophy and student-centered learning.
  • Experience in co-curricular and pastoral activities within a school setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching TOK or supporting students in CAS and Extended Essay.
  • Background in teaching students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with the school’s pedagogical framework and IB curriculum delivery.
  • Experience in international education or working in a multicultural environment.
