Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IB English Language B at MYP and DP levels with a high degree of proficiency.
- Support students in CAS, Extended Essay, and TOK where applicable.
- Contribute to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programs, including sport and supervision duties.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a student-centered, IB-focused curriculum.
- Engage in the development and implementation of the school’s unique pedagogical framework.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high academic standards and ensure students are prepared for university and beyond.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching IB English Language B at MYP and DP levels.
- Strong command of English and the ability to teach students whose first language is not English.
- Commitment to the IB philosophy and student-centered learning.
- Experience in co-curricular and pastoral activities within a school setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching TOK or supporting students in CAS and Extended Essay.
- Background in teaching students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Familiarity with the school’s pedagogical framework and IB curriculum delivery.
- Experience in international education or working in a multicultural environment.
