Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons for secondary students
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and critical thinking
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
- Support students in achieving academic excellence through differentiated instruction and formative assessment
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and assessment strategies
- Provide pastoral care and guidance to students, promoting their overall development
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching and learning
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree with a relevant teaching qualification in Mathematics
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in Secondary Mathematics
- Strong understanding of the IB MYP & DP frameworks and Approaches to Teaching
- Commitment to the IB Learner Profile and a passion for working in a culturally diverse environment
- Availability from August 2026
Preferred
- Experience teaching within an IB curriculum school
- Advanced qualifications in Mathematics or education
- Demonstrated ability to continuously improve teaching practice and student engagement
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
