The Opportunity:
As an IB Maths and Science Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education within the IB Diploma Programme. You will inspire students, support their academic growth, and contribute to a vibrant, multicultural learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach high school Mathematics and Science courses within the IB DP, including Higher Level and Standard Level.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the IB DP curriculum and promote critical thinking.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs and encourages a growth mindset.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources across the Mathematics Department.
- Deliver lessons that challenge students and help them build essential skills for future academic and professional success.
- Support students in developing a passion for Mathematics and Science through inquiry-based learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Science or a related field.
- Teaching certification, with preference given to those with IB DP teaching experience.
- Proven experience teaching IB DP Mathematics and Science.
- Strong understanding of IB DP curriculum principles and assessment practices.
Preferred
- Master's degree or further qualification in Mathematics or Science.
- Experience teaching IGCSE and/or MYP courses.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and international education standards.
