The Opportunity:
We are seeking an ICT and Computing Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking faculty. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a school that is investing heavily in digital learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education in ICT, Computing, and Business across key stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ICT, Computing, and Business across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on student engagement and progress.
- Develop and deliver a stimulating and inclusive curriculum that aligns with the school’s vision for digital learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Technology Faculty’s impact and support student achievement.
- Support students in developing the skills needed to thrive in a digital world.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to inclusivity and equality in all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with students and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment.
- Stay up to date with developments in ICT and Computing to ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in ICT, Computing, or Business.
- Commitment to inclusive and engaging teaching practices.
- Ability to deliver high-quality lessons that promote student progress and achievement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Preferred
- Experience with digital learning tools and technologies.
- Background in curriculum development or leadership within a Technology Faculty.
- Experience with teaching students at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Knowledge of business studies or related subjects.
