The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ICT/Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated team. The role will involve delivering high-quality lessons and contributing to the development of the school’s Guiding Statements and Values. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative ICT/Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 5.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s Guiding Statements and Values.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to support student growth and development.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in ICT and Computer Science education.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting a culture of respect, kindness, and global-mindedness.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in ICT/Computer Science education.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum of England and international qualifications such as IGCSE, A Levels, and IB.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons and engage students in active learning.
- Commitment to student welfare, personal excellence, and the school’s Guiding Statements and Values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with the British curriculum and international assessment frameworks.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
- Leadership experience or involvement in co-curricular activities.
- Fluency in Arabic or French is an advantage.
