The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed ICT Support Teacher to join a school with an outstanding reputation. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that students and staff have access to the latest technology and support, enabling a seamless learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff and students across all ICT systems and devices.
- Maintain and manage the school’s ICT infrastructure, ensuring it is secure and up to date.
- Deliver ICT-related training and support sessions to staff and students.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology into the curriculum.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and safeguarding policies.
- Monitor and report on ICT usage and system performance.
- Support the implementation of new software and hardware solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant ICT qualifications or experience.
- Experience in providing ICT support in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of current ICT systems and software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching or supporting ICT within the curriculum.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools.
- Experience with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
