The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed ICT Support Teacher to join a school with an outstanding reputation. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that students and staff have access to the latest technology and support, enabling a seamless learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff and students across all ICT systems and devices.
  • Maintain and manage the school’s ICT infrastructure, ensuring it is secure and up to date.
  • Deliver ICT-related training and support sessions to staff and students.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology into the curriculum.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and safeguarding policies.
  • Monitor and report on ICT usage and system performance.
  • Support the implementation of new software and hardware solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant ICT qualifications or experience.
  • Experience in providing ICT support in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of current ICT systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching or supporting ICT within the curriculum.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools.
  • Experience with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
