The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to join our team for a maternity cover position starting in March 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the school’s mission of preparing students for the digital future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative ICT lessons to students across multiple grade levels.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s educational goals and industry standards.
- Support students in developing digital literacy and computational thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across the curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in information and communication technology.
- Provide individual and group support to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the professional development of the teaching staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in ICT, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching ICT at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of current ICT trends, software, and hardware.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create and deliver interactive and student-centered lessons.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as coding platforms, robotics, and multimedia software.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment design.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
