The Opportunity:

We are seeking an ICT Teacher to deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Technology, Software Engineering, and Computing. This role is central to shaping the future of students through cutting-edge ICT education and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Technology, Software Engineering, and Computing Technology to Middle Senior School students.
• Design and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and promote student engagement.
• Collaborate with department heads to enhance and develop the school’s ICT curriculum.
• Participate in co-curricular activities that support student development in ICT-related areas.
• Create and implement high-quality teaching and learning activities that meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and colleagues to support student success.
• Ensure a safe and secure learning environment with clear standards of behaviour.
• Assess student progress in line with the school’s expectations and provide timely feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent with a Diploma of Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• Current Teacher Registration in the home country, including relevant Police Checks.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, mechatronics project development, and UI design.
• Experience in delivering coding-based lessons and practical programming projects.
• High standard of spoken and written English.

Preferred

• Knowledge and experience applying the principles of Visible Learning.
• Experience leading or coaching co-curricular activities.
• Experience with curriculum development and innovation in ICT education.
