The Opportunity:

An ICT Teacher KS1–KS3 is needed to deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction that builds foundational technology skills in young learners. This role supports students in becoming confident users of technology while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and digital responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver ICT lessons for students aged 5–11 aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Introduce core computing skills such as keyboarding, coding (e.g., using Scratch), and safe internet use.
  • Promote responsible digital citizenship and online safety.
  • Integrate educational technology to support learning across the curriculum.
  • Develop student skills in using software applications such as word processors and creative tools.
  • Support cross-curricular learning through ICT projects in coordination with classroom teachers.
  • Maintain and manage ICT resources, ensuring equipment and software are functional and up to date.
  • Track and assess student progress; provide feedback and contribute to formal reports and parent communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or related field.
  • Experience with educational tools, coding platforms, and digital learning environments.
  • Familiarity with safe and responsible use of digital technology in a school context.

Preferred

  • PGCE or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching ICT in a primary or international school setting.
  • British curriculum experience.
