Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in their learning through individualised strategies and positive engagement.
- Work closely with class teachers to implement education and health care plans.
- Assist with ICT administration, ensuring systems are maintained and up to date.
- Promote independence and social development through structured activities and experiences.
- Contribute to the delivery of a bespoke curriculum tailored to student needs.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students, fostering a safe and encouraging environment.
- Collaborate with therapists and teachers to enhance student outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Commitment to supporting students with complex needs and autism.
Preferred
- Experience with ICT administration or technical support.
- Previous experience working with students with SLD or complex learning needs.
- Knowledge of educational strategies for students on the autism spectrum.
- Experience in delivering individualised learning programmes.
