The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning through individualised strategies and positive engagement.
  • Work closely with class teachers to implement education and health care plans.
  • Assist with ICT administration, ensuring systems are maintained and up to date.
  • Promote independence and social development through structured activities and experiences.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a bespoke curriculum tailored to student needs.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, fostering a safe and encouraging environment.
  • Collaborate with therapists and teachers to enhance student outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Commitment to supporting students with complex needs and autism.

Preferred

  • Experience with ICT administration or technical support.
  • Previous experience working with students with SLD or complex learning needs.
  • Knowledge of educational strategies for students on the autism spectrum.
  • Experience in delivering individualised learning programmes.
