The Opportunity:

As an ICT Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the school’s technology infrastructure. You will ensure that all IT systems remain secure, up-to-date, and accessible for staff and students across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s IT systems, including computers, printers, and communication tools.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all digital resources used by staff and students.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues across the school.
  • Collaborate with staff to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
  • Monitor network performance and implement solutions to enhance system reliability.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Maintain detailed records of system changes and user support requests.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in school IT management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in IT support within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of network systems, hardware, and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in ICT or computer science.

Preferred

  • Experience with VOIP systems and classroom technology.
  • Familiarity with managing large-scale IT environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with educational software and learning management systems.
