Seeking IGCSE and A Level Geography Teacher for a dynamic school in Romania.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced IGCSE and A Level Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on student learning and development, with opportunities for leadership roles available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IGCSE and A Level Geography, as well as KS3 Humanities.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and promote critical thinking.
  • Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a dynamic curriculum.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
  • Degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching the Curriculum of England and CAIE Geography.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Clear ICPC Check/Police Report.
  • EU passport holder (preferred).

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership role, such as Key Stage Coordinator or Deputy Head of Secondary (Pastoral).
  • Proven track record of value-added student progress and excellent exam results.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support systems.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and practices.
