The Opportunity:

As an IGCSE PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical education instruction aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. Your work will support student development, engagement, and achievement, while contributing to a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive PE lessons aligned with the IGCSE and A Level curriculum.
  • Prepare and manage classroom activities, assessments, and learning resources.
  • Support student learning through differentiated instruction and individualized support.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to enhance student well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative teaching community.
  • Monitor and maintain classroom inventory and learning materials.
  • Grade and assess student work, and report on academic progress regularly.
  • Encourage student involvement in school cleanliness and extra-curricular activities.
  • Support students through additional academic and pastoral programs as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A university degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent classroom teaching experience at the Secondary level.
  • Demonstrated experience in Cambridge Education.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build trust with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive learning practices.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school environment.
  • Pastoral leadership or academic leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of EAL teaching methods.
