The Opportunity:

As an Inclusion Centre Manager, you will lead and manage a team dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This role is essential in ensuring students receive a personalised and high-quality learning experience, contributing to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Inclusion Centre team, including Intervention Coordinators.
  • Develop and implement training and support strategies for staff within the centre.
  • Ensure all students receive a personalised and effective learning experience tailored to their needs.
  • Coordinate and lead team briefings to maintain consistency and high standards of practice.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Inclusion Centre to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and SEND policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and interventions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant SEND experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding practices and SEND provision.
  • Experience of delivering high-quality outcomes for disadvantaged and SEND students.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar leadership or management role within education.
  • Familiarity with the Professional Learning Scheme and Trust-wide systems.
  • Experience of working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues.
