The Opportunity:

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed. You will deliver inspiring lessons, support students with special educational needs, and work closely with parents and professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire student success.
  • Promote inclusion across the school and support students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Plan and deliver targeted intervention programmes to meet individual learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Use data to inform planning and support student progress.
  • Manage classes effectively and model positive behaviour and attitudes.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of school events and extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • BA in Special Education, Education, or Psychology with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • 1–2 years of teaching experience.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
