Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a transdisciplinary and conceptual curriculum that is challenging, relevant and significant.
- Establish and maintain respectful, positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and review Individual Education Plans.
- Maintain detailed planning documents with clear learning objectives and assessments.
- Monitor and document student progress effectively.
- Utilise technology to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Create and maintain a tidy, well-organised classroom environment.
- Support the academic, social and emotional needs of students in a proactive manner.
- Advocate for student wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Follow safeguarding reporting procedures and protocols.
- Reflect on professional practice and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to the management of student pastoral care and behaviour.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent, or a Bachelor's Degree in a subject with a PGCE from a recognised institution.
- 2–5 years of relevant professional teaching experience.
- Commitment to inclusive and evidence-based teaching practices.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB PYP or IPC curriculum.
- International teaching experience, particularly in Asia.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
