The Opportunity:

As an International Primary Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a challenging and relevant curriculum that fosters student engagement and growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a transdisciplinary and conceptual curriculum that is challenging, relevant and significant.
  • Establish and maintain respectful, positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and review Individual Education Plans.
  • Maintain detailed planning documents with clear learning objectives and assessments.
  • Monitor and document student progress effectively.
  • Utilise technology to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Create and maintain a tidy, well-organised classroom environment.
  • Support the academic, social and emotional needs of students in a proactive manner.
  • Advocate for student wellbeing and safeguarding.
  • Follow safeguarding reporting procedures and protocols.
  • Reflect on professional practice and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to the management of student pastoral care and behaviour.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent, or a Bachelor's Degree in a subject with a PGCE from a recognised institution.
  • 2–5 years of relevant professional teaching experience.
  • Commitment to inclusive and evidence-based teaching practices.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB PYP or IPC curriculum.
  • International teaching experience, particularly in Asia.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
