A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Islamic Studies A Teacher to join its team from January 2026. This role offers the opportunity to deliver innovative lessons and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative teaching environment that supports student success and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons aligned with Ministry of Education standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Arabic language program and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
  • Participate in the school’s Professional Learning Community and contribute to continuous professional development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to support student learning and well-being.
  • Promote the school’s strategic vision and values in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Ensure lessons are innovative, inclusive, and aligned with the British curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Fully qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Islamic Studies.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience teaching in a British Curriculum school.
  • Commitment to raising educational standards and student achievement.
  • Ability to deliver innovative and engaging lessons.
  • Willingness to participate in the school’s Professional Learning Community.
  • Strong collaboration skills within the team and across the school.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in developing and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons.
  • Demonstrated success in student engagement and academic achievement.
