Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and policies.
- Facilitate excellent progress for all pupils through effective differentiation, assessment, and feedback.
- Model and promote the school’s vision, values, and culture, including respect for Saudi traditions.
- Provide outstanding pastoral care and support to pupils during break/lunch duties.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, House system, and wider school events.
- Uphold high standards of professional conduct, integrity, and punctuality.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support school development and CPD initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding and child protection requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies or equivalent teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status.
- Excellent knowledge of the Saudi Ministry of Education curriculum for Islamic Studies.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
- Experience in curriculum development for Islamic Studies.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
- Understanding of recent educational developments and best practice.
Preferred
- Experience in UK independent or international schools.
