The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and policies.
  • Facilitate excellent progress for all pupils through effective differentiation, assessment, and feedback.
  • Model and promote the school’s vision, values, and culture, including respect for Saudi traditions.
  • Provide outstanding pastoral care and support to pupils during break/lunch duties.
  • Contribute to co-curricular activities, House system, and wider school events.
  • Uphold high standards of professional conduct, integrity, and punctuality.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support school development and CPD initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with safeguarding and child protection requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies or equivalent teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Saudi Ministry of Education curriculum for Islamic Studies.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience in curriculum development for Islamic Studies.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
  • Understanding of recent educational developments and best practice.

Preferred

  • Experience in UK independent or international schools.
